Hi, I received my LS60's at the end of November 2023, and I was told by KEF prior to delivery they were the first pair of carbon black LS60's in the UK, nice. After a couple of issues setting them up I had them up and running and they sound fantastic and still improving, I love them. I have never had such effortless deep bass from any previous speaker/amp setup ever, the sound imagery is wide as the front to back imagery is deep. My preferred source is vinyl with CD/SACD my second choice fed into the aux RCA sockets via my pre-amp, I have been playing some old 65/70 year old mono vinyl with a mono cartridge and has a strong wide central sound image between the speakers, my stereo vinyl sounds just as fresh and uncovering background sounds I did not know existed. I received the new Beatles Red & Blue albums boxset and a Tangerine Dream LP (Raum) at Xmas, the demix/remixed Beatles albums sound amazing through these speakers, where was the bass in those old recordings from the 60's?.The Tangerine Dream album sounds great but not an album I am familiar with yet. CD/SACD's sound best ever and has me trawling through my collection of digital media for something else to play. Although for me personally a slightly simplified LS60's without the streaming/radio etc but still with the DSP would been Ideal with just a pair of XLR/RCA analogue inputs, I rate these speakers a total knockout and they get 11/10 from me.
